WORKOUT PARKS FOR CITIES<\/h3>\n

Street workout is not just a fitness phenomenon for quite a long time. It\u2019s one of the fastest growing kinds of sport not just in Slovakia but worldwide. It uses mostly body weight workout with various kinds of horizontal and parallel bars, wall bars, benches etc. People work out in parks, on benches or on children's playgrounds and we try to help them by building workout parks.\nThese workout parks are specially designed for such kind of work out and they are also safe to use in public places. By building them in cities and towns youngsters are encouraged to spend their time meaningfully and responsibly. These parks form communities, where people help and respect one another. Help to improve your city, too. As the saying goes:<\/p>\n

HOW TO DO IT?<\/h3>\n

Send an email to info@wodgear.sk<\/a>or contact us on FACEBOOK<\/a> and we will send you a price list, visualizations and photos of realized workout parks, so that you can have an idea about the options and prices and so you could react to possible questions from city management, township or land management.<\/p>\n

Write or call your municipality to make an appointment with the mayor or other person responsible for spatial planning and land use, sport etc.<\/p>\n

A signed petition for building a workout park may be also helpful. Download the form HERE<\/a>. The more people will sign a petition the higher the chance to actually build it. Such petition is a good evidence of interest in workout parks in your town.<\/p>\n

When meeting the authorities present your ideas about the usage and how it will benefit the municipality and its inhabitants. Present how it will teach the young to make a better use of their energy than to bum around and vandalize public property. They will be more disciplined, responsible, active and contribute to the municipality.<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ll have the city's interest and approval, help them choose a suitable location. We are able to insert a visualization of a workout park into the photo of potencial place, so they can see how it could look like in real life, which could convince the whole local authority to agree with realization.<\/p>\n

If the city has enough funds to build one of the workout parks, half of the battle is won. After that send us a name, phone number and email address of the competent person responsible for realization and we will explain all technical details. Following steps may vary in different cities. They either choose a company by themselves or a tender process takes place. In that case let us know immediately after the announcement, so that we can join the tender process too.<\/p>\n

When the construction is done, we can arrange an official opening of a workout park with an exhibition show for the locals.<\/p>\n
